"Quintessenz" publishes monthly contributions from all fields of dentistry. With 15 journal sections and many additional categories, it provides a comprehensive compilation of articles spanning the entire field of dentistry. By providing articles relevant to dental practice, the journal supports dentists in their daily work and keeps them informed of the latest developments in the field of dentistry. Special issues on key topics of current interest, various aspects of which are discussed in detail in the different sections, are published three times a year. The special issues include online CME tests, offering readers the opportunity to test their knowledge and earn 5 continuing education credits per test. This versatile reference source is steadily growing at a rate of more than 1,600 pages per year, including more than 1,800 mostly color illustrations. Full-text versions of articles from past issues dating back to 2003 are available online.
